This game uses a very slightly modified version of Tony Myles' SpriteWorld 1.0b4, and the files are included here for completeness' sake.
For SpriteFight project to compile & run BUG-FREE w/ SpriteWorld 1.0b4,
the userData field of the SW type SpriteRec needs to be changed from
a long to a double, as I access 8 bytes worth of data in userData!!!
This is the only modification made to SW1.0b4.
For PowerPC compilers, you must create a weak link to the SpeechLib and
QuickTimeLib shared libraries for the game to run on PowerMacs w/ out
QuickTime and Speech Manager & not generate a run-time system error
at startup!
This is only 'beta' code! By the time this game is finally finished and released, there should be many additional features added and minor bugs fixed. However, it is very stable, solid code in it's current state & may be of help to someone out there.
The final version of this game should hopefully be done & released sometime in the summer of 1996. It will appear on AOL, as well as my WWWeb site, for sure.
